CARAQUET, June 22, 2017 – The inauguration ceremony for the 2017 Annual Campaign was held in the cafeteria of the Enfant Jésus RHSJ† Hospital this morning to introduce some volunteers and donors and to announce the final result of the campaign.
The financial objective for the 2017 campaign was set at $90,000, with four areas of the hospital (Laboratory and the Emergency, Physiotherapy, and Clinical Nutrition departments) benefiting from the Annual Campaign this year. In addition, the Fondation Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus is proud to participate in the Chaleur Regional Hospital’s Major Fundraising Campaign, which will make our regional hospital’s modernization project possible.
“Having invested over $1.7 million, the Fondation Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus is proud to be able to count on the generosity of people both here and elsewhere and to have participated in improving the hospital’s care and services for the past 29 years,” affirmed Normand Mourant, Chair of the Fondation Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus.
An overall amount of $107,967 was proudly announced by Mélanie Chiasson, Chair of the 2017 Annual Campaign. “We’re aware that there are many causes that people can support. We therefore thank you for choosing to invest in your health, since, as our campaign slogan so eloquently reminds us, “My Health, My Responsibility!” Ms. Chiasson declared.
The mission of the Fondation Hôpital de l'Enfant-Jésus is to raise funds in support of the Enfant-Jésus RHSJ† Hospital in order to improve the health care services provided to our community.
