CARAQUET \u2013 This morning an amount of $90,000 was given to Vitalit\u00e9 Health Network as part of the 2016 Annual Campaign of the Fondation H\u00f4pital de l\u2019Enfant J\u00e9sus. The ceremony was held in the cafeteria of the Enfant J\u00e9sus RHSJ\u2020 Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year three areas of the hospital will benefit from the annual campaign (Laboratory, Medical, and Electrodiagnostics). An amount of $10,000 will also go toward various regional projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAs you can see, the money that you give generously is used to purchase equipment that will allow us to treat thousands of patients at the hospital every year,\u201d explained Judy Butler, Primary Health Care Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A total amount of $116, 145 was proudly announced by Th\u00e9r\u00e8se Hach\u00e9, 2016 Annual Campaign Chair. \u201cThis generosity reflects the importance of the hospital for our community,\u201d said Ms. Hach\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For her part, Foundation Board of Directors Vice-Chairperson M\u00e9lanie Chiasson took the opportunity to express thanks. \u201cThank you to all those who contribute, either directly or indirectly, to the success of the Foundation and its annual campaign, as today the hospital will be able to benefit from various new patient care equipment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The mission of the Fondation H\u00f4pital de l\u2019Enfant-J\u00e9sus is to raise funds to improve the health care services provided at the Enfant-J\u00e9sus RHSJ\u2020 Hospital and to help the facility build a greater sense of belonging within its community.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
