CARAQUET \u2013 The 2016 Annual Campaign organized by the Fondation H\u00f4pital de l\u2019Enfant-J\u00e9sus was officially launched this morning at the cafeteria of the Enfant-J\u00e9sus RHSJ\u2020 Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The financial objective for the 2016 campaign has been set at $90,000. This year three areas of the hospital will benefit from the annual campaign (Laboratory, Medical, and Electrodiagnostics). An amount of $10,000 will also go toward various regional projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Fondation H\u00f4pital de l\u2019Enfant-J\u00e9sus makes it possible for us to carry out important projects for our facility. We see the foundation\u2019s annual campaign as a collective investment in a healthy future for our region,\u201d explained Judy Butler, Manager of the Enfant-J\u00e9sus RHSJ\u2020 Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The press conference also allowed the foundation to highlight the contributions of the following partners: the Northern Star, the hospital’s employees, the City of Caraquet, Maison Fun\u00e9raire LeGresley, Shoppers Drug Mart in Caraquet, C.L. Comeau and Village of Bertrand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThanks to our donors, a number of projects focused on our health are becoming a reality. I am in fact one of the thousands patients that the hospital staff is caring for each year and who benefit from this generosity. Sincere thanks to all,\u201d said Th\u00e9r\u00e8se Hach\u00e9, Chairperson of the 2016 Annual Campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For his part, Normand Mourant, Chairman of the foundation\u2019s Board of Directors, stressed how proud he was. \u201cOur community has always dedicated itself to the improvement of health care and we can be proud of the impact that we have in the region, as for the past 26 years, an amount of over 1.4 million dollars has been invested into the hospital through the foundation\u2019s activities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The annual campaign will continue until the end of April. Upcoming activities include the 5th Benefit Supper featuring guest artists, to be held on March 12, 2016 and the Roses Radiothon, to be held on April 29, 2016.
