The Board took the opportunity to summarize the accomplishments of the past year. The past fiscal year saw the Foundation invest over $126,362 to improve the care and services provided to our population. It invested in the patient care sectors (57%); diagnostic, treatment, and follow-up sectors (25%); staff education and other sectors (5%); and specialized regional services and the fight against cancer (12%).&nbsp;<br>\n\t<br>\n\tThe Foundation is always very grateful for the significant support it receives from the community. \u201cIf the Foundation is close to the hearts of its supporters, the inverse is equally true. Our donors are the foundation and key element of the Foundation\u2019s existence and cause. Without them, all our philanthropic achievements would not have seen the light of day,\u201d explained Martine Th\u00e9riault, Chair of the Board of Directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\tThe Foundation also took advantage of the meeting to recognize donors who, through their contributions, advanced to a higher level on the Foundation\u2019s permanent wall of recognition, located near the facility\u2019s main entrance.<br>\n\t<br>\n\tThe Foundation is also proud to be able to count on a team of devoted and dynamic volunteers.
