The commitment shown by our\nvolunteers and donors simply exceeded all our expectations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On September 18, we announced an amount of $870,788 in\nthe presence of donors, staff members and physicians from the Enfant-J\u00e9sus\nRHSJ\u2020 Hospital in Caraquet as well as volunteers who contributed to the success\nof our major campaign. Considering that the objective was to raise $815,000, we\ncan affirm that the campaign was an all-around success. This money has made it\npossible to set up the Oncology Clinic and to acquire other equipment to help\nin the fight against cancer for the Medical Imaging Department and the Urology\nClinic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The success of such a campaign depends on the\nattachment people have to their hospital. We are fortunate to have been able to\ncount on pillars that led this campaign to a successful conclusion. We would\nlike to highlight the important role played by our ambassadors: Mr. Ren\u00e9\nCormier, Honorary Chair, and Mr. Joseph Lanteigne, Chair of the campaign. They\ngathered a dynamic team that has made every effort to raise awareness in our\ncommunity to the pressing needs of our hospital. It is thanks to this winning\nrecipe, combined with our community\u2019s great generosity, that it is now possible\nto offer enhanced health care and services right here. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Year after year, you are among the hundreds of loyal\ndonors who renew their support to the Foundation. This year, in addition to\ncontributing to projects linked to the major campaign, your support helped\nraise $315,679 for the following sectors: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>$46,600\n\u2013 Patient care areas (15%); <\/li><li>$241,042 \u2212 Diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up areas\n(76%); <\/li><li>$8,037 \u2013 Continuing education and other areas (3%); <\/li><li>$20,000\n\u2013 Regional Projects (6%) <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe can\u2019t conclude without saying thank you to the\nFoundation family: volunteers, donors and partners. Together, each in your own\nway, day after day, you help enhance the health care and services offered at\nour hospital. Thank you so much for your generosity and involvement.
