Thanks to the support of the community, donors, volunteers and partners, the foundation continues to improve the quality of health care, at home first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Message from outgoing Chair Christina Mallet<\/strong><br>&#8220;I leave my post with a sense of duty accomplished. Together, we have facilitated the acquisition of essential equipment, the development of the Oncology Clinic, and the continuous improvement of health care services. Thank you to all those whose dedication makes this mission possible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A successful annual campaign<\/strong><br>Thanks to initiatives like the Roses Radiothon and Northern Star, along with corporate and individual donations, the foundation exceeded its initial goal of $80,000, reaching $99,891. These funds have been used to purchase essential medical equipment, significantly enhancing the quality of care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Employee support and planned giving<\/strong><br>The foundation awarded $4,245 in training scholarships, bringing the total amount invested in training since 2007 to $80,220. In addition, Mrs. Linda Landry&#8217;s planned gift will create an endowment fund to support the oncology clinic, palliative care and other priority needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tangible financial impact<\/strong><br>This year, a total of $98,423 was invested, with 86% allocated to direct patient care and diagnostics, 10% to specialized services and the fight against cancer, and 3% to staff development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New Board of Directors<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Chair: Normand Mourant<br>&#8211; Co-Chair: David Blanchard<br>&#8211; Treasurer: Ch\u00e9rine Dugas<br>&#8211; Secretary: Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Poirier<br>&#8211; Members: \u00c9ric Hach\u00e9, Michel Chiasson, Julien Hach\u00e9, Dr. M\u00e9lissa Godin, Louise Th\u00e9riault, Jean Lanteigne, Yvette Levesque and Donat Bertin<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the foundation<\/strong><br>The foundation has been supporting the Enfant-J\u00e9sus RHSJ\u2020 Hospital since 1988.
