You can make an immediate donation to the Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus Foundation, which will allow us to address our hospital's urgent needs right away. You can also schedule your gift now to be received by the Foundation at a later date.

Annual Campaign
Each year, the Foundation addresses the urgent needs of the Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus to support it in the delivery of care and services. It receives a list of requests that can range from a few thousand dollars to several hundred thousand dollars.
One step at a time toward better health
The Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus Foundation continues its mission to enhance the quality of care and promote the well-being of patients and their loved ones, right here at home. Thanks to the support and solidarity of the community, we are able to improve our services and carry out projects that truly change lives.
Supporting these projects directly contributes to the quality and safety of the care we provide to the community.
The generosity of our community makes all the difference. Together, we are building a future where everyone has access to quality care, close to home.
This year, our goal is to raise $88,000. These funds will help acquire state-of-the-art equipment and develop essential services, such as:
Phlebotomy chair
The phlebotomy chair keeps patients in a stable and relaxing position (reducing anxiety) and optimizes the work of nursing staff with ergonomic arm supports, while decreasing the risk of fainting or accidents during the venipuncture procedure. It facilitates venous access while protecting both the patient and the professional.
CASE (Cardiac Assessment Stress)
Designed to evaluate cardiac function and blood circulation, this tool improves the flow of examinations, allows for faster and more accurate interpretation of results, and reduces the risk of errors. By contributing to a safer environment, the CASE optimizes the process and supports staff efficiency.
Telehealth
In the oncology clinic, near the waiting room, oncologists could offer consultations and follow-ups via videoconference, which would reduce travel for cancer patients. This approach reduces stress, costs, and travel time for patients who are very ill and weakened.
Vital signs monitor
Monitors a patient's physiological status in real time by measuring parameters such as heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate, and temperature. Essential in oncology to ensure precise monitoring of patients receiving complex treatments and to allow for the early detection of any deterioration.
Spiritual care
Care that goes beyond the physical, provided by chaplains or trained professionals who respect patients' beliefs, whether religious or secular. Complementary to medical treatment, this support provides comfort, dignity, and assistance with decision-making during critical moments.
Endowment fund and regional projects
Your generosity also helps support our endowment fund, a lasting investment in the quality of care today and tomorrow. You are also supporting regional initiatives that make a tangible difference in the lives of our community members.

A visit or stay at the hospital can be a difficult experience. Some people, whether they are part of the clinical team or support staff, make a real difference in our lives. The Grateful Patient program highlights the essential contribution of local caregivers who work every day for the well-being of our patients.

When you make a donation in honor of your healthcare hero, they will receive a card informing them of your thoughtful gift. Additionally, with their consent, we will recognize them on our social media channels.

It is a continuation of our mission to invest primarily in improving healthcare at the Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus. These funds are invested, and only the interest is used to support the Foundation and the facility, now and for future generations.

Planned gifts play a vital role in the long-term sustainability of our foundation. In 2024, Ms. Linda Landry generously chose to include a planned gift in her will to create several endowment funds for the Fondation Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus.
These funds, established according to her interests and wishes, support the oncology clinic, palliative care, spiritual care, and the hospital’s priority needs.
Through this inspiring gesture, Ms. Landry is helping to ensure lasting support for essential services while raising awareness about the importance of considering community health in estate planning. Training is a key component in improving healthcare delivery. The Foundation established a scholarship fund to contribute to the professional development of staff at the Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus RHSJ†.
Professional Development
Our staff is the organization's most important resource. The Foundation is proud to support hospital staff in their professional development. This fund aims to encourage skill development, enrich knowledge, and ensure high-quality expertise within our facility.
For 2025-2026, 5 recipients were awarded this scholarship, allowing them to pursue training and enhance their skills in their respective fields.
More than 96 scholarships have been awarded since the scholarship fund was established in 2005.
