FIFTH BENEFIT SUPPER OF THE FONDATION HÔPITAL DE L’ENFANT-JÉSUS

CARAQUET – The Fifth Benefit Supper of the Fondation Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus featuring guest artists took place last March 12. The event, organized by Joseph Lanteigne and his team, raised over $20,000, which will go toward the 2016 annual fundraising campaign of the foundation.  This year, the objective of the annual campaign is $90,000 to meet various needs of the facility and complete some regional projects.

“It’s a great pleasure for me to organize a supper like this one as my reward is seeing that our community is always ready to support our health facility! The success of this supper rests entirely on our community as it’s organized by volunteers and attended by faithful supporters,” said Joseph Lanteigne, organizer of the Fifth Benefit Supper.

For his part, Normand Mourant, Chairman of the foundation’s Board of Directors,  took the opportunity to highlight Joseph Lanteigne’s involvement. “When you think of the Fondation Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus, you think of Joseph Lanteigne. His constant presence and devotion to the health of our community make him an invaluable volunteer. It’s thanks to people like him that important projects came into being in our hospital!”

Members of the Benefit Supper Organizing Committee are Joseph Lanteigne, Dean Power, Aline Paulin, Pauline St-Pierre, Jacqueline Robert and Martine Thériault. The various performing artists included Mylène Landry, Samuel Gauvin and the group Douce Harmonie.
